Mobvoi Ticwatch S2 Analysis
Mobvoi Ticwatch S2 Analysis: A Hard, Affordable Wear OS Clock which is not enough for everyone Wear OS Watches are all very similar to the hood, but the prices vary wildly. While most options cost more than $ 200, Mobevi is working to provide affordable alternatives, which is just as good, if not the best. Recently, Ticwatch S2 has been on my wrist. What do you want to know here
Mobvoi Ticwatch s2 Battery Life
One area Ticwatch S2 has very strong battery life. With any Wear OS Clock, you can not expect more than just a few days out of this watch. However, S2 easily and consistently saves about 2 days on a single charge without tension about it. It can always expand by closing the current display, but the 400mAh battery is strong enough to run the basic functionality of two days.
For the included charger, this is a simple pin-based magnetic charger. This is an improvement over the last year's one included with Ticwatch S and E, but it is not very good. The magnetic charger is a little weak, but there is no connection to it. The charging process is quite fast in itself.
There is a marked improvement in performance which you will notice right from the bat. In my use, S2 did not leave a beat with just one example in many days, where I had to face any gaps
Of course, we are still seeing the Ware OS, so honestly, things are still not very good. The forum has improved a lot thanks to updates last year, but it is still behind the competition in many ways.
Personally, I see it in this way. Where Apple Watch basically has a phone on your wrist, when you see its capabilities, the Wear OS adds smart features to just a traditional watch. That way, I think the Ticwatch S2 falls slightly on your face. As mentioned, this is a clock for the function, not the form, and that the wearable OS does not have a strong suit.
The unexpectedly strong area of Ticwatch S2 is the TicHealth app. While this used to be something that did not add anything to Google Fit and even got a little bit of that service, this time it got a big upgrade. Not only this tracking now supports floating, but with TicMotion it can automatically start tracking your workout. If you start jogging, running, swimming or any other type of exercise that can track an app, it will start tracking automatically.
By that end, Ticwatch S2 5ATM packs water/dust resistance which enables it to be used during the swim. It has also got the MIL-STD 810G rating, which means that this clock can work in almost any environment. For display, 1.39-inch OLED display is solid. It is bright enough for fast and outdoor use. Touch Response is also good, but all sincere displays are just a standard to wear OS clocks. At the very least, it is good to see at this price point.
The Ticwatch S2 also makes an incredibly welcome change from its predecessor. While there was a non-removable band in that watch that integrates GPS for better accuracy, Ticwatch S2 uses conventional 22mm pin connections. This means that you can swap the silicon band included with one of your selections. Personally, I slapped a leather band from Amazon for some extra dollars. So far it is the biggest improvement between these two generations.
One more note that there is no speaker on this clock. Google has a microphone for messages and voice dictation for messages, but you will not be able to play music or make phone calls to watch. It's a shame, but I do not think it's a deal breaker at this price.
If Ticwatch S2 is in line with your requirements, you will not be disappointed, but it is a niche smartwatch at the end of the day.

Mobvoi Ticwatch s2 Software & Performance
Another major improvement between Ticwatch S and Ticwatch S2 was the move to the Mobvoi Snapdragon Ware 2100 chipset. Although the 3-year chip can not look like an improvement, this media tech is one change from one that operates the previous generation.

Mobvoi Ticwatch s2 Hardware
I'll be frank here, Ticwatch S2 is not premium in any way. It is made entirely of plastic, it is very light, and it is not lagging behind in a bad feeling. However, in spite of this, it has got a design that is not repulsive and comfortable to wear. It may look bad, but it is a completely honest truth. This is not a fashion watch, it's a utility clock.By that end, Ticwatch S2 5ATM packs water/dust resistance which enables it to be used during the swim. Mobvoi Ticwatch s2 Final Conclusion
At $ 179, Ticwatch S2 is a little hard to recommend. This is not due to its performance, performance or something else originally. It hits a lot of notes in a good way, but it only appeals to a niche audience. It might not be for everyone like Ticwatch E2.If Ticwatch S2 is in line with your requirements, you will not be disappointed, but it is a niche smartwatch at the end of the day.
